Bluegrass Wildflower Planting
Will Overbeck has been providing local genotype Bluegrass region wildflower gardens since 2012. Specializing in native trees, shrubs, wildflowers, grasses, and sedges on the Inner and Outer Bluegrass regions of central Kentucky. Focusing on pollinator gardens and larger tree planting projects to support ecological restoration of the imperiled Bluegrass Mesophytic Cane Forest and Bluegrass Wood plant communities that were one common features in the rich Ordovician limestone soils, now largely converted to agricultural uses.

Bluegrass Wildflower Planting strives to provide consulting/planning, installation, and management services to enhance form and function of landscapes from small residential gardens to large projects of 10 or more acres. Providing professional botanical inventories to identify conservative native plants and the invasive species that threaten your land. Pro bono services are available on a case-by-case basis. Tours are available of landscape models that may inspire you to plant local wildflowers!
Common milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) and swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) seeds are available for installation. Free samples may be available depending on seasonal supplies.
