KNPS Membership

Membership is open to all ages and levels of knowledge and experience.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Lady-Slipper - our quarterly Newsletter: Our newsletter has articles about native plant identification, conservation, gardening, plant uses and lore, Kentucky's botanical history, and all the latest news and coming events. A PDF version is available at the Lady-Slipper page.

Field Trips and Workshops: These are directed by knowledgeable leaders and conducted in all parts of the state. You will get to see special plants and visit unique and interesting areas.

Special Projects and Meetings: You can help save an endangered plant or an natural area of exotic invasive plants. We have two meetings a year that include programs with special speakers, and hikes. The spring Wildflower Weekend is generally at Natural Bridge State Resort Park and the Fall Symposium is held at various sites.

Mail-in Membership Form - if you want to pay by check - processing may take up to 6 weeks.*
Online Gift Membership - to purchase a membership for someone else by PayPal or credit card
Update Membership info - to change your email. address, etc.

* Because we are a all volunteer organization mailed in applications must be forwarded to our membership person and treasurer for processing. This can result in a significant delay in responding to you. Our webmaster can respond and answer membership questions only if you use the online form and pay via PayPal.

Annual Membership Jan. 1 - Dec.31

Those joining or renewing after Sept.1st to Dec. 31st will be members for the following year.
