Venus's Looking-Glass -- Triodanis perfoliata
Family Campanulaceae (Bellflower family)
This species produces small purple flowers from the axils of the leaves on the stems
from May to July. It has small, alternating leaves on a weak, droopy stem, and is often
overlooked. It is common along roadsides and in waste places. This species is often found
along the north shore of hematite lake in LBL.
