Valerian -- Valeriana pauciflora
Family Valerianaceae (Valerian family)
This interesting plant is easily identified from its large cluster of trumpet-shaped pink flowers
that are produced on a small stem about 2 feet in height. It blooms in May in shaded woods and
slopes.
