Flowering Spurge -- Euphorbia corollata
Family Euphorbiaceae (Spurge family)
The five petals of this flower are actually bracts, which surround
many minute flowers. Flowers are produced on an inflorescence
surrounded by whorled leaves. This plant can be found in fields, dry
woods and prairie-like areas in July and August.
