Lavendar Waterleaf -- Hydrophyllum appendiculatum
Family Hydrophyllaceae (Waterleaf family)
This waterleaf can be distinguished from the more common large-leaved variety due to the
lavendar-colored flowers and the small appendages that are between the sepals. This
species can be found in moist woods in mid to late May, and is a biennial.
