Wild Geranium -- Geranium maculatum



Family Geraniaceae (Geranium family)

This geranium is actually a native wildflower of this region. It is commonly found in moist wooded areas or along stream banks, and can be easily recognized by the distinct palmate leaf shape. Flowering is from May to June.
