Wild Garlic -- Allium canadense
Family Liliaceae (Lily family)
Wild garlic is a common weed of pastures and fields that is found in
May and June in our region. The flowers are white to pink and about 1/4 to
1/3 inch in diameter. A similar introduced species, A. vineale, is
much more common than the native garlic and is nearly impossible to distinguish.
