Butterweed -- Senecio glabellus
Family Asteraceae (Aster family)
This species is a common weed of moist fields, river bottoms and swamps. It blooms in early
April, producing large clusters of bright yellow flowers on large, smooth stems that can reach
up to 3 or 4 feet in height.
