Angle-Pod -- Matlea gonocarpa
Family Asclepiadaceae (Milkweed family)
This species is vine-like, and is often called climbing milkweed. Flowers are produced
in an umbel from May to July. This species is common along fences, thickets and waste places.
There is a related species, M. obliqua, which has brownish-purple flowers and is the
species listed in most identification guides.
